About glasses
Do Super Sapiens glasses have a prescription or can I use them with my corrective lenses?
We offer the option to choose the model and type of prescription lens. Simply select your prescription, complete the purchase, and email us your prescription. However, we also offer clip-on lenses for prescription glasses. This way, you can have protection at a more cost-effective price.
What is the difference between Lemon, Orange and Strawberry lenses?
The lenses of anti-stress glasses were developed to protect you from artificial light. Therefore, each lens protects a different percentage of light. Yellow lenses: block 80% of blue light. Orange lenses: block 98% of blue light. Red lenses: block 99% of blue light.
Do I need to wear all types of glasses or just one?
It depends. The important thing is to define why you want the glasses. Their main function is to block artificial light, with each lens providing a different percentage of protection. Although we recommend using all three lenses, you can specify your use based on the specific characteristics of each lens. Now, if you want more than one model, we have a vast collection with options.
Can I wear glasses even if I don't have sleep or vision problems?
Yes. Everyone should own at least one pair of light-blocking glasses to protect themselves from the damage they cause to their vision.
What is the average durability of lenses?
Like any other product, they can last for years if properly maintained and cared for.
Are the glasses comfortable for long-term wear?
Yes, the lightweight, ergonomic design ensures comfort even during prolonged use, ideal for those who spend many hours in front of screens or drive long distances.
What materials are used in lenses?
Our lenses are made of CR-39, the highest-quality polymer available. They're lightweight, scratch- and impact-resistant, and infused with a unique pigment that mimics the natural melanin found in our eyes.
I don't know where to start. Which Super Sapiens glasses should I buy?
We recommend glasses with yellow (lemon) or orange lenses. Yellow lenses block about 75% of blue light and are ideal for use during the day and early evening, helping to reduce eye strain while maintaining good vision. Orange lenses block 98% of blue light, providing even greater comfort, especially in environments with bright artificial light. Both options are perfect for those looking to block blue light and improve visual comfort, especially when using electronic devices or spending a lot of time in the sun. Yellow lenses are great for beginners, as they offer good protection without significantly altering the color, allowing for clear and comfortable vision.

About benefits and science
What is the relationship between blue light and melatonin?
Artificial light (e.g. blue light), as the name suggests, is not natural in nature, which causes direct changes in our body, namely in the levels of melatonin and Cortisol, two hormones fundamental to the biological functioning of the circadian cycle.
Recurrent exposure to artificial light at night results in inadequate production of cortisol instead of melatonin, causing sleep loss, even when feeling tired.
Do glasses only help with sleep or also with headaches, eye strain and focus?
Our our is directly connected to our well-being.
By helping to prevent the effects of blue light and promoting a good night's sleep, glasses also help to reduce other symptoms, such as headaches, fatigue, or poor focus.
If our body can recharge its energy through adequate rest, other problems will also be resolved.
